My Evil Twin

My name is Melissa, I was born on September 14th, 1875. Some people say I look younger than my actual age, they don’t know I’m a mermaid yet, which is good because it’s a difficult thing dealing with people asking weird questions. I love food, it’s one of my favorite things to do. Mainly, I love eating in the afternoon when I get to talk to my friend. He’s cute and nice, but he’s not allowed to come to the surface. My favorite color is purple, as you may have noticed.

I find it really fun to sing, I love singing, but it’s a bit dangerous when I try to do it… my dad says it enchants humans. I like humans, but I don’t want them to know my real self. I’m a little forgetful half of the time because I tend to imagine what would life be if I reveal my personality to others. There’s this guy I know, he seems to be really nice and friendly, but would he love me if he knew what I really am? I don’t want to risk our friendship.

I’m creative, I can create a whole world in my mind, but I only draw it. I love the feeling of the pencil in my head, I love it when I have an idea and I can put it in the paper. My dad says it’s not a good thing to do so, but it’s the only moment I feel free of all the things he has told me. I’m a little shy, but when it comes to social stuff I’m extrovert, it’s a weird combination, but hey! It’s me, right?
