E' Bednar's Talk.

One of the boys in the room asked: How can I know what are my limits? How can I know how fast HF wants me to go?
His answer was simply perfect.
Well my dear brother, I have an answer for that, probably you won't like it. But heavenly Father does not put a limit on you. Because, Let's think of this... What if HF says "You must run 'this' Fast"? Well, probably you'll put lower standards or probably even no standard at all... But how are you going to know how fast you could have run if there were no limits?
Whit God's help nothing is impossible. If we look at Nephi's example. Remember when he was tied up in the ship by his brethren. He ask in a prayer, and said: "Oh Lord, according to my faith which is in thee, wilt thou deliver me from the hands of my brethren; yea, even give me strength that I may burst these bands with with I am bound" (1 Nephi 7:17) I would have said maybe "Oh God, send an angel to help me, and make my brethren suffer from what they did" But let's focus on Nephi's prayer...
According to my faith which is in thee... Here we can see the first part of everything. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The faith in every thing the Lord ask, is the key to miracles.
Then we have this: even give me strength that I may burst these bands... So, after asking for God's strength, he said HE wanted to solve his problem. What can we learn here?
Well -E' Bednar continued- David has no strength to do the Apostle's work, I have no enough intelligence, I'm not strong enough, I'm not good looking either, but one thing I know, David A. Bednar can. With God's help I can do Anything!
So, in conclusion, why do you need to know what are your limits, when God can do anything! He can and he will help you, God love us, God love me, and I'm sure He loves you too.
