This is our mission.

There was a time, when Darren and Josh lived together. They were so happy, they were very good friends. They loved each other. One day, they were called to an interview, because they were going to go to the earth, they were finally having a body, a family, a name, and all things Human beings have.
Heavenly Father called one of them first, he entered to the office, He said: "Well, Darren, Thanks for coming. I have a very good opinion from you. You will go down to earth, you'll have a wonderful family, it will be a faithful Mormon Family. They will take you to Church, and then you'll go on a mission. You'll have a very beautiful wife, and your children will be obedient and respectful. You'll have to find the truth, but it will be very close to you. In your whole life, temptation will be very strong, but don't forget to ask for my help, I will always listen to you. Would you like to go to that life, and do what it takes to be a good member of the Church, and coming back to live here again?" And Darren, surprised, answered "Yes, I will!"
 After all the things HF said to Darren, He called Josh, who entered to the office, He said this time: "Oh my dear Josh, you have been such a wonderful son.. but I don't have very good news. You'll be born in a very difficult time and place. Your family will be very bad in terms of loving. Your sister will be addicted to drugs, and your bother is already in jail. Your Dad will hit you, and your mom doesn't even care about it. Your life is going to be very difficult. Are you willing to go to that place, and live like my son Jesus Christ lived, trying to be better every day, to finally come back and have a beautiful and peaceful rest?" Josh, with tears in his eyes said willingly "Yes, I am"
The two friends were together, sharing their experiences, when Darren said: "Dude, my life will be so awesome! I'm going to have a family that's already a member, I will have wonderful siblings, my family will be full of love and support, I would even be able to go on a mission!". Josh, tearing up a little bit said: "Well my loved friend, I can't say the same. My life will be full of pain, hate, bad words, drugs and jail... my dad will hit me, my mom doesn't even care... but God will hear me, whenever I pray" Darren, also tearing up a little bit, hugged Josh. Darren looked at his friend, he said "Josh, I can change places if you want to". Josh thought of that for a short time, then he said firmly: "Darren, you said you'll go on a mission... Please, Don't forget that. You have to find me, and teach me. Maybe I'll be mad at you.. maybe even I'll say bad words to you, I could even try to hit you... But please try to remember how much love I feel for you. Try to remember that I, eventually, will accept the gospel. Please, DON'T FORGET ME. I'll be waiting for you."
Thinking about all the things I have in my life, maybe, I have a friend who's waiting for me. Maybe they are in such pain, maybe they need a comforting hand, maybe they need me.
Don't let the world take you off of your path. We are sons and daughters of God, That almighty God who created us. We have so much power to do good. There's nothing good out there in the world. There's nothing to be afraid of, when we have God's help.
